Fixed-Point Blockset 4.0

New Fixed-Point Blockset features, documented in more detail in the

Fixed-Point Blockset 4.0 Release Notes, include

•Installation whenever Simulink is installed

- Models with Fixed-Point Blockset blocks can now be shared among all

Simulink users in your organization, whether or not they have a

Fixed-Point Blockset license.

- Two simple global settings, data type override and logging modes, allow

you to easily toggle a model between taking full advantage of fixed-point

features, or running without a Fixed-Point Blockset license.

•Unification of core Simulink and Fixed-Point Blockset blocks

•Global availability of data type override and logging modes

•New Shift Arithmetic block
