Thesearethekeyfeatures:

• Search for field — Look for s pe cific wor ds in the documentation and

demos. You can

- Specify an exact phrase by enclosing words in double quotation marks,

such as

"word1 word2"

- Use a wildcard symbol (*) i n place of letters, such as wo*d1

- IncludeBooleanoperatorsbetweenwords,suchasword1 NOT word2

• Contents tab — View the titles and tables of contents of the d ocumentation.

By default, the contents synchronizestothedisplayedpage. Ifyougetto

a p age from a search or by following a link, click the Contents tab if you

want to see the context within the overall documentation for the page you

are viewing.

• Index tab — Find specific index entries (s ele cted keywords) in the

documentation.

• Search Results tab — D isplays results from Search for,separatingthe

results in Documentation from the results in Demos.

• Demos tab — View and run demonstrations for your M athWorks products.

Demosincludecodethatyoucanuseasabasisforcreatingyourown

M-files.

While viewing the documentation, you can

• Browse to other pages — Use the arrows at the tops and bottoms of the

pages to move through the document, or use the back and forward buttons

in the toolbar to go to previously view ed pages.

• Bookmark pages — Use the Favorites menu.

• Print a page — Click the print button in the toolbar.

• Find a term in the page — Click the find icon

in th e toolb ar.

• Copy or evaluate a selection — S elect text, such as code from an example,

then right-click and use a context menu item to copy the sele ction or

evaluate (run) it.
