Summary of New Features
SimHydraulics™
SimHydraulics was released via the Web after R2006a, but before R2006b.
Version 1.1 of SimHyraulics, included in R2006b, includes these new features:
• Linearization command support
• New solver option to start transient analysis from a steady state
• Extended functionality for working with physical units
• 13 new blocks

• Computer-aided design (CAD) translator for Pro/ENGINEER

SimPowerSystems
• New Mechanical Input parameter for the AC Electric Drive blocks, for

motor speed as block input

• New Prelookup block and Interpolation Using Prelookup block support for
fixed-point data types
• SQRT operation in Math Function block support for fixed-point data types
